Recently, YMWAP was invited to participate as a trusted partner<\/strong> in The New Commonwealth Fund\u2019s Maternal Health Equity initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside Vital CxNs, Mass General Brigham, the Boston Women’s Fund, and Epiphany Early Learning Center, YMWAP is honored to be included in this work to close critical gaps.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this year, YMWAP students and staff had the opportunity to participate in maternal health equity education and training<\/strong>, which both our team and the young men found deeply valuable and informative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 22, 2024, Boston Women\u2019s Fund hosted a Reproductive Justice Symposium, where Young Man with a Plan was chosen to participate in a panel<\/strong> discussing the impact of NCF\u2019s Material Health Equity Initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with the Epiphany Early Learning Center, Young Man with a Plan shared our experiences facilitating conversations with youth in Boston about maternal health equity needs and how to be supportive advocates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
