This year’s Giving Tuesday Initiative will support YMWAP’s Level the Field Fund!

Our goal is to raise $7,500!

Double the Impact of Your Donation

All donations made on Giving Tuesday will be matched by a generous anonymous donor.

That means for every $1 you give, YMWAP receives $2!

We recognize that poverty impacts all areas of life and creates sustained stress for our students and their families.

Level the Field Fund helps young men access college and persist to graduation.

Gaining college acceptance and financial aid are milestones we celebrate. However, when the reality of comprehensive college costs hit, YMWAP responds by distributing:

• funds

• technology

• books

• college bookstore gift cards

• food gift cards

• transportation

• clothing

• and other essential needs for our young men

Since our students often contribute to household income, going to college creates family hardship. Students appreciate expense relief, and this support increases the likelihood of persistence.

In the past, Level the Field has even provided a bed for a college student living off-campus who did not realize his apartment was unfurnished.

Level the Field funds have also supported current high school students with emergency needs for food, clothing, transportation, and interview/prom clothing.
